The Carlit@s Group

Every Monday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm Room 10.

What will the Carlit@s Group be about?

The Carlit@s will be for all children who have COMPLETED their First Communion and are under the age of 13. It will serve as a transitional group where children can continue to learn about their faith before reaching the age to join the Youth Group/Confirmation.

What will they be learning?

• Biblical stories in chronological order — incorporating lessons with crafts and group activities.

• During Holy Days and other important Catholic Observances the children will deepen their knowledge for the importance of these celebrations.

• Teaching them about the beauty of Mass and the importance of Sacraments

• Learning the stories of Saints and much more.

The group is free to join. Donations may be requested in the future to help with materials/activity needs. If you did not have the opportunity to register your child but would like to do so before the start of our first meeting, you may do so my visiting the parish office during regular business hours or by emailing the Director Claudia at cflores@stjosephbak.org and she will email you the pertaining registration documents.

¿De qué se tratará el Grupo Carlit@s?

Los Carlit@s será para todos los niños que hayan COMPLETADO su Primera Comunión y sean menores de 13 años. Servirá como un grupo de transición donde los niños pueden continuar aprendiendo sobre su fe antes de llegar a la edad para unirse al Grupo de Jóvenes/Confirmación .

¿Qué estarán aprendiendo?

• Historias bíblicas en orden cronológico, incorporando lecciones con manualidades y actividades de grupo

• Durante los Días Santos y otras celebraciones católicas importantes, los niños profundizarán su conocimiento sobre la importancia de estas celebraciones.

• Enseñándoles sobre la belleza de la Misa y la importancia de los Sacramentos.

• Aprendiendo las historias de Santos y mucho más.

El grupo es gratis. Es posible que se soliciten donaciones en el futuro para ayudar con las necesidades de materiales/actividades. Si no tuvo la oportunidad de registrar a su hijo/a pero le gustaría hacerlo antes del comienzo de nuestra primera reunión, puede hacerlo visitando la oficina parroquial durante el horario de trabajo habitual o enviando un correo electrónico a la Directora Claudia a cflores@stjosephbak.org y ella le enviará un correo electrónico con los documentos de registro correspondientes.
